{"id":4469,"date":"2026-06-01T11:03:28","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T10:03:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambabuja.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2026\/06\/borse-di-studio-litalia-corre-verso-il-futuro-2\/"},"modified":"2026-06-05T12:45:48","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T11:45:48","slug":"borse-di-studio-litalia-corre-verso-il-futuro-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambabuja.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2026\/06\/borse-di-studio-litalia-corre-verso-il-futuro-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholarships: \u201cItaly Runs Toward the Future\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Scholarships for Italian\u2011language attendance of the Master\u2019s Degree programmes in <em>Sport Science and Techniques<\/em> and <em>Sport Management<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Last academic year, this Ministry \u2014 in collaboration with the University of Rome \u201cForo Italico\u201d, one of the most authoritative institutions for scientific research and academic training in the field of motor and sports sciences \u2014 launched the <strong>first edition<\/strong> of the scholarship programme <em>\u201cItaly Runs Toward the Future.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The programme provides <strong>scholarships for young student\u2011athletes from Nigeria<\/strong>, among other African countries, to attend the Master\u2019s Degree in <em>Sport Science and Techniques<\/em> or in <em>Sport Management<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2><strong>Second Edition \u2013 Call for Applications a.y. 2026\u20132027<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>For the 2026\u20132027 academic year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) will offer <strong>up to 20 scholarships<\/strong>, each worth <strong>\u20ac9,000<\/strong>. The scholarships will last <strong>9 months<\/strong>, starting from <strong>1 October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each selected student may apply for <strong>renewal<\/strong> of the scholarship for the second year of study through a dedicated call that will be published during the 2026\u20132027 academic year, provided that they have obtained <strong>at least 36 university credits<\/strong> by <strong>30 September 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for the second edition of the programme are open <strong>from 3 June 2026<\/strong> and will close on <strong>30 June 2026 at 12:00 (Rome time).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The application procedures are described in Article 5 of the <strong>CALL FOR APPLICATIONS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the degree programmes, please refer to the University of \u201cForo Italico\u201d website:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sport Science and Techniques: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniroma4.it\/index.php\/piano-di-studi-lm47\/\">https:\/\/www.uniroma4.it\/index.php\/piano-di-studi-lm47\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sport Management: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniroma4.it\/index.php\/piano-di-studi-lm68\/\">https:\/\/www.uniroma4.it\/index.php\/piano-di-studi-lm68\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2><strong>First Edition \u2013 Renewals a.y. 2026\u20132027<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Scholars from the <strong>first edition<\/strong> of the programme (2025\u20132026) who wish to continue their studies in the 2026\u20132027 academic year may <strong>apply for renewal<\/strong> of the scholarship for the second year. To do so, they must have completed exams worth <strong>at least 36 university credits<\/strong> by <strong>30 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>By that date, applicants must send their renewal request to <strong>concorsi.ammissione@uniroma4.it<\/strong>, attaching their <strong>passport<\/strong> and <strong>transcript of completed exams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When applying for renewal, students must also submit an <strong>internship proposal<\/strong>.
