It is a platform bringing together <strong>development finance institutions, institutional investors, corporates and project sponsors<\/strong>, with the goal of turning opportunities into concrete transactions within six months.<\/p>\n<p>Benin positions itself as a <strong>strategic hub for West Africa<\/strong> thanks to the <strong>Port of Cotonou<\/strong> and the <strong>Glo-Djigb\u00e9 Industrial Zone (GDIZ)<\/strong>. Ongoing reforms aim to strengthen industrialization and local value addition, opening space for investments in <strong>agro-industry, manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure and energy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/benindealroom.com\/en\"><strong>Benin Deal Room 2026<\/strong><\/a> will showcase more than <strong>20 pre-qualified projects<\/strong>, with an estimated financing need between <strong>USD 2 and 3 billion<\/strong>. Each project will be supported by a detailed profile including sponsor, sector, CAPEX, permits, business model and environmental\/social assessments. This approach ensures transparency and facilitates investor due diligence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li><strong>Day 1<\/strong>: economic context and mandate alignment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Day 2<\/strong>: closed bilateral meetings and selected site visits.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Day 3<\/strong>: finalization of term sheets and blended finance discussions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The expected outcome is the signing of at least <strong>five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) by March 2027<\/strong> and a 60-day action plan for follow-up. <strong>Investors<\/strong> will gain access to a validated pipeline and curated meetings, while <strong>project sponsors<\/strong> will receive support for fundraising preparation and documentation. <strong>Strategic partners and sponsors<\/strong> will benefit from visibility, networking opportunities and post-event transaction support.<\/p>\n<p>Attached is the full event brochure.
