InvestinItaly.gov.it is the portal showcasing the main investment opportunities offered by our country. By accessing the official page InvestinItaly.gov.it, users can consult detailed profiles on 13 strategic sectors for the national economy, as well as obtain information on the main bureaucratic requirements and available incentives at the national level.
In particular, the section dedicated to settlement opportunities lists over 250 public industrial sites — greenfield, brownfield, and logistics — available to investors, with detailed information regarding size, distance from major infrastructures, and possible location in areas subject to special incentives.
Also active is the Investor Visa for Italy Program, which allows non-EU citizens to enter and reside in Italy for long periods in exchange for an investment in our country, as established by Law of 11 December 2016, No. 232.
The program is characterized by lower investment thresholds and the absence of minimum residence requirements. Visa recipients obtain a two-year investor residence permit, renewable for additional three-year periods for the entire duration of the investment.
