The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers scholarships to foreign students for the 2026–2027 academic year. The goal is to promote cooperation in cultural, scientific, and technological fields, support the international projection of Italy’s economic system, and spread knowledge of the Italian language and culture (Ref. Law 288/55 and subsequent amendments).
The scholarship covers only courses held within Italian territory.

Applicants must submit their applications exclusively through the “Study in Italy” portal: https://studyinitaly.esteri.it/
Online applications must be submitted no later than 14:00 (Italian time) on March 26, 2026. Interested students are advised to follow the instructions and consult the FAQs available on the platform in both Italian and English: https://studyinitaly.esteri.it/Static/FAQ
Note: In case of a high number of applications, the Commission will conduct a preselection and invite only shortlisted candidates for interviews. Failure to receive an interview invitation shortly after the application deadline implies non-selection.
